At the Heart of AKASHA

He sat at the table with eyes closed, elbows propped up, meditating while dangling a crystal on the end of a string. The swinging slows, and the crystal rests on a map of Spain that is spread across the desk. Opening his eyes, Danish composer Torben Thoger sees the region of “Alicante” under the crystal, and another step is taken in his adventurous journey of musical discovery.

As he reached for his computer keyboard, Torben didn’t know who he might find in Alicante, Spain, but he had faith in what two trusted mediums had predicted in earlier sessions with him. A successful film/TV music composer and owner of Denmark-based Camelot Communication, Torben Thoger is as open about his spiritual life as he is dedicated to his music. He explains how the clairvoyants helped to identify the talented musicians who would join him in bringing his most recent projects -- the inspired albums titled The Present and AKASHA -- to life. more

PEACE FESTIVAL IN HOLLAND

Martin Weber-Caspers and the
Curtis-Knight Foundation organized a Peace Festival in the Netherlands. He premiered live performances, including "The Story of Life" by Jimi Hendrix, showcased artists and telefon interviews (Leon Hendrix) and is broadcasting the festival on his radioshow in Flevoland Holland. 2006 brings new opportunities to inform and engage people around the world in observing and celebrating Peace Day 21 September. Together we can meet the goal of pledged commitments in every country for the first time in the Peace Day’s history. This dynamic and exciting possibility is within our reach, but we need your help.

We have posted on our site as a starting point a list of the 192 member states of the United Nations. You can see in which countries activities are taking place on the Day and those in which there are none. Can you help? Do you know any individuals, any faiths, any NGOs, any groups in these or any other countries? Please contact them, and invite them to be a part of the global celebration of Peace Day. Ask them to make a commitment and send it in to web@peaceoneday.org
